The Child and Youth Advocate Act

The Child and Youth Advocate Act was proclaimed April 1, 2012. The legislation sets up the Advocate as an independent officer of the Legislature. It also expands the role of the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate, and increases its investigative responsibilities.
