Schedule Disruption Notice
Wednesday's Child will NOT air during the Olympics (February 17th and 24th) due to the fact that the news hours and other programs will be floating rather than slotted in their standard time slots.
During these days, watch for the Public Services Announcements about Adoption in Alberta.
The Wednesday’s Child Program will return to its regular schedule on March 3, 2009.
Successes
If you have a success story you would like to share, please contact us.
"If it wasn't for being adopted, I would not be where I am today. Fully educated, running my own business, being part of a loving family and being able to enjoy life. Adoption changed my life...if I wasn't adopted when I was...I'd probably be destitute...or dead...So thanks to you (Wednesday's Child, CFRN, Alberta Social Services) for making it possible."
- Comments from Sarah, a former Wednesday's Child
"I don't ever want to see the program stop. It helps kids. I want other children to be as happy as I was and to be able to be adopted. I want kids to have a chance, like I did."
- Thoughts on the Wednesday’s Child Program from Mike, a former Wednesday's Child
