The Chair of the Youth Secretariat is appointed by the Minister of Human Services and his or her role is to lead both the Youth Secretariat and Youth Advisory Panel and to advise and inform the Minister on the progress and outcomes of the work of the Secretariat and Panel. The current Chair is Ms. Teresa Woo-Paw, MLA, Calgary-Mackay.
